|
|
Hello:
I'm looking for a good English-speaking dentist in the Osaka/Kyoto area for a general check-up and cleaning. No problems (that I know of), just preventative care needed. Anyone have any good suggestions? Please keep in mind that my Japanese is pretty poor.
Thanks!

A bit of a hike, but I used a good dentist near Matsugasaki station on the Kyoto subway, a couple of blocks east of Kitayama-dori. Clean clinic and efficient and he speaks English. He explains what he does as well. Dont have his name right now but I can dig it up for you probably (Im overseas at the moment)
His nurse assistants were nice too. |

That would be great if you could Paul. You'd think it would be easy to find one, but even the US consulate here in Osaka is pretty worthless when it comes to good information.
Thanks for any help you can offer!

There's a list here
http://www.pref.osaka.jp/iryo/medicalinfo/list/a02.htm
of dentists in Chuo-ku who claim to be able to speak at least a little English (scroll down the list- the dentist section is near the bottom). One or two are even listed as being "fluent". Whether they are any good or not as dentists? No idea. |
