anyone have info on self sponsored visas??
i would think that you have to be here with an exiisting visa before the authorities would let you self sponsor
i am just looking for my first job/visa here so dont know if this is an option. cheers. |

There is not really such a thing as a "self sponsored" visa. There is a way to get a visa without one company sponsoring you. To get it you must show your last years tax records and current contracts totaling up to (this amount is unclear) about 200,000 yen per month, amongst other things. I've heard this called a "multiple sponsor" visa. I have such a visa, but it's not my first one.
For your visa, you'll need a company to sponsor you and get you a certificate of eligibility. |
