I disagree. There was no question in the OP, just facts that he already knew (and wasn't asking for someone to confirm it). It was most likely a troll, especially as he hasn't resurfaced yet. |

(FWIW, Yes, I DID buy a Hello Kitty vibrator for the SHORT time that they were actually selling them.... Had to get one or no one would believe me if I told them it was true). And no, it's never been used. It's still new in its packaging.  |

In Korea you could sometimes find Benneton brand condoms in some of the convenience stores. These were at least closer to your typical size back home. I didn't see any of that brand in Japan as I brought a supply with me. |

Meh. I, for one am glad not to have such a hard topic to discuss on a Friday afternoon.  Some of the REAL troll threads are just nuts -- this is still quite tame.

| Why is the OP considered a troll? Are condoms generally smaller in Japan? Er.... yes! And without going into any details its fairly obvious from looking around in onsens over the last couple of years that they are made to fit. Even the US Marine Ultra Ultra Large which I once bought in a pharmacy in my town were smaller than average British ones. Theres a shop not far from Ueno station in Tokyo that sells Durex if anyone needs to stock up, though. |

| Also, smaller size aside, love hotel condoms tend to be of very poor quality. Definitely bring your own if you plan on using one of these hotels. |

If you're talking about the Amercian Pharmacy they have some good ones, but also some of the US ones I bought that were labeled as XL were a fair bit smaller than the average Ansell Lifestyle condoms that I bought back home in Oz. There seems to be different condom sizes in every country, not just Japan (though these are definitly the smallest).
For another take on the topic, I've seen a fair few "well hung" Japanese guys around the gym locker room. Not in the majority, but there are some guys here with rather large packages. What do these guys use? Could the fact that condoms aren't that popular in Japan be because of the small size produced here? |
