My husband and I would like to leave Peru. After being here for 2 years, I'm getting itchy feet. The thing is that my husband is Peruvian and only speaks Spanish.

So the ideal job for him being a native speaker would be to teach Spanish. WE're open to almost anywhere except for the States and Mexico. And I've got a few PMs telling me that Poland has opportunities for Spanish speakers

If you could help us. that would be great.

Thanks in advance for any info, contacts or websites.

Which part of Poland are you thinking of locating to? I have an email list of schools in Warsaw, if you're interested, and a large number of them run Spanish courses.

I knew a guy from Mexico City who taught Spanish at Berlitz in Lodz. Berlitz has schools all over Poland. I think that they pay around 25 zl. per hour. There are a number of private schools in most bigger cities that offer classes taught by native speakers. In Lodz you could also check the websites for Prima, ProEuropa, or any of the Universities. If your husband has a degree in Spanish, literature, education, or something like that he may be able to teach at a uni public or private.

Naturegirl,

Try the link to Instituto Espanol:

Also, here are other schools that offer Spanish in Warsaw:

Good Luck.

I know the school I taught at last year has been looking for a Spanish teacher starting in September. It would be working for International House who are very good and reputable so no problems there. Try e-mailing the Director of Studies there at [email protected]
It's worth a try.
