Last week there were seven gmoderators. We are minus two this week.
Sad Why is the flag not flying at half mast Question The exodus continues. I hope that reason will prevail and troublesome trolls will be stamped out.

I can understand the feelings of moderators - they are the first to get pilloried ("why did you delete MY post - you bugger!?").
Have you noticed that Dave SPerling never spars with anyone on this board? And the others keep out of the fray most of the time - which is not easy, I suppose, as they certainly will want to express their own opinion from time to time...

Roger I really miss Minghang Oz. Will he ever come back? Do I have to team up with a cat, a bale of straw and a tin can to find him.
Cheers Dorothy

Actually, for many of us the flags are flying at half-mast. Hamish and BP were the fairest and most reasonable mods we had. I worry for the future of this forum.

By the way, Minhang Oz is alive and well and living in Paris. No, wait, that's Jacques Brel. Embarassed But Minhang is fine. I think he's just choosing not to be here right now. Smart man.

Hamish once deleted a post I made because I got too aggressive with Bertrand [as if!]. I wore that as I respect Hamish, who talks to people.
Not this current regime though.

Some of the mods over at the Korean forum have a nice style. When they delete something they put a little note in small colored type saying that the post has been moderated and why.
