People, people. Let's be fair to young f_t. He did post a request for info about this bunch of muppets as far back as last December. How many replies did he receive? Not one! And now you happily sit back and pour scorn on the poor mug. Shame on you!

Fitz mate,

With every post of yours the suspicions as to why you ended up al fresco on the roof of your workplace increase.

I am now wondering if it was your interpretation of the spelling of 'believe' that did it or was it simply your naivety when it comes to accepting teaching jobs abroad?

You do strike me as the sort of guy that signs credit card agreements before even reading the addressee.

Top thread Fitzy, couldn't resist pitching in even though I promised no further abuse earlier.

Is the OP still in Jakarta? I'd love to have a beer together on Friday night and continue this story.

PostPosted: Wed Jun 28, 2006 9:55 am    Post subject: Fired? Reply with quote

Dear Eijse74,

I was not fired from the school in Russia. I was fired from the school in Yemen on the same day that the other native English speaking teacher was fired. We were not given any reason for the dismissals and were not paid for the last month.
You can check this out on the Russian and General Middle East forums. You will also see that other teachers posted threads about the school that I worked for in Russia - all complaining about the conditions.

The teacher who wrote this is not content with insulting me - he is now telling lies about me. This person has a grudge against me because I complained about his ex-boss in Yemen.

He has only written 7 posts on the entire website - all 7 attacking me. Did he join the website just to fire abuse at me ? The evidence speaks for itself.

But this forum is about Indonesia and this thread is about IH Malaysia who employed me in Indonesia (telling me, as they have told others, that I would be working for "IH Jakarta".) You can fill another two pages with your abuse if you want - I will only respond to factual questions about IH Malaysia (or outright lies about me.)

It is notable that Mr F-z, amidst all the blaming, omits to mention that he writes his own references. Now who would need to do that if they were reputable and worth hiring?Changing name and gender in order to sing your own praises is a little questionable is it not?
Just a thought. Confused

After all the lies from IH Malaysia, after working illegally for them, after being told that I was working for IH Indonesia(which does not exist), after them taking 10% tax off my salary (when I was not even working legally!,) after hiding on the roof to avoid arrest by the Indonesian police - they had the nerve to ask me for a reference !
I treated it with the contempt that it deserves and wrote them a false reference. By that stage I had no intention of finishing the contract anyway - so I did not care whether they sacked me or not.

If anyone is interested in the way that IH Malaysia treat their teachers then they should take a look at the General Asia Forum.

Micropiglet seems very eager to dish the dirt on me. So I would like to show you three of his posts - replying to the thread: "Curious about Penang Malaysia."

The first posts reads:

Forum: Indonesia Posted: Thu Dec 08, 2005 8:51 am Subject: Working in Penang Hi there.
I am the teaching coordinator at a large school in KL, Malaysia, and actually, we are currently looking at recruiting for a new centre in Penning.
You may yet see teaching posts in Penang b ... Topic: Curious about Penang Malaysia micropiglet

And the very next post reads:

Will he claim that he repeated the same post three times by accident? Or that it was caused a fault with the website? Perhaps he will. But it seems more likely that he is trying to recruit teachers for IH Malaysia. Sure, he does not mention IH Malaysia by name, he just says large school in KL, Malaysia . Still, it would be easy to guess what school he is talking about.

Is he trying to advertise on Daves website?

Does he get a commission from IH Malaysia for recruiting new teachers?

Is it part of his job to defend IH Malaysia on this website?

(Please note that most of his posts are in praise IH Malaysia.)

Both micropiglet and Eijse74(who has a grudge against me because I complained about his ex-boss in Yemen. Who has only written 7 posts on the entire website - all 7 attacking me. Who joined the website just to fire abuse at me ? See his posts.) were very critical of the things I said in my previous posts. I think it is now clear that they both had ulterior motives.

Incidentally, the "Curious about Penang Malaysia" thread is right below my own thread - which requests information on IH Indonesia (and, off course, got no replies.) The management in Kuala Lumpur was very annoyed with me when they discovered this post. No wonder! What with micropiglet trying to recruit more teachers in the previous thread !

Believe it if you will, although it matters not to me, I am definately not "trying to recruit"! I have far better things to do with my time, and I am not paid to it, so I won't!
Also, believe it or not, if the same post is on the forum three times, then it is a mistake. As I say, it doesn't matter to me either way.
I have no ulterior motive at all. When I happened to chance upon your threads, and read them (plus all your previous global mishaps) I thought some balance might be in order.
I actually do feel for you, and understand that it must have been fairly unpleasant in Indonesia, but as I have said before...it takes a courageous man to hold his hand up to his own shortcomings. You know what I mean?
Anyway, as I say, I neither need nor want to defend this company. I simply don't care either way. Just having some fun on the forums!
I'd let it go if I were you. No one seems to care!

So, you are 'definately' not interested in a teaching post in 'Penning'?

Regardless of whatever this guy did in his previous teaching posts, he has been shafted and has a right to complain. I hope his complaints go further than this forum, and the people responsible for screwing this guy get fired.

Mr. Fitz deserves to be sent to work illegally in Indonesia and have no support from the company/staff which sent him? Why?

Quote:
I would suggest that to expect to have legal papers on arrival or even shortly after arrival in any school in Asia is hugely unrealistic. It would seem to be a case of find something to moan about here...

Shocked

To be working legally is the first thing I'd expect, and to have the required papers at least being processed before I arrive.

Good work warning us about this very dodgy operation.

Heres one thatll wipe the stupid smile off your face.

In an email to at least 30 teachers your ex-boss in Yemen says that I quit the job. (This is her excuse for not paying me.)You,on the other hand, claim that I was fired for incompetence. (I claim I was fired also.)

So you are making a liar out of her.

If you email your ex-boss she will tell you that this is true.

Sorry, I should have told you this earlier but it was more of a giggle to wait for a while.Watching you write post after post (in this secure knowledge that you were getting revenge for the compliant I made against her school) was just too much fun.

Oh, and can you please tell her that I will use your little mistake to make it even more difficult for her to get new teachers.

Thank you very much.
(I have the feeling, however, that your ex-boss will not thank you at all.)

This thread has been top of the charts about as long as Bryan bloody Adams and his theme to Robin Hood Prince of Thieves.

That was a pile of shite also.

Just back from hols having missed all this drama... So, are we any further forward with the true facts about IH Jakarta and IH KL? Are they reputable pukka IH operations or worth avoiding?

Lots of heat being generated but not much light, guys.
