Is there such a thing for EU nationals coming to Turkey?

Reason I ask is that I plan on heading out to Istanbul permanently in October but before then I was thinking about going to one of the more 'touristy' areas for a couple of months to work. I'm doing bugger all this summer and the though of being cooped up in some office temping for several months makes me want to cry.

My Turkish friend (who I met about 7 years ago while on holiday and still keep in touch with) has a nice little restaraunt in Data where he said I could work for a bit but he was unsure about working Visas.

Now, I remember I had such a thing when I went to Oz which was a 90 day workign visa but I'm sure it's different for Turkey. Is there something like that at all?

I'm not betting there is but if there was I'd be a happy bunny.

I do not know about USAnals or Canucks but for UK and EU nationals you get a visa on arrival on the payment of a token amount ( I think 10 pounds for UKanians and 10 Euros for others.)

You then get a stamp on your passport that says MULTI ENTRY VALID FOR 90 DAYS EMPLOYMENT PROHIBITED

Ignore the last two words - half the TEFLers in Turkey do !
