Any feedback on these textbooks?

I'm looking for a listening textbook for my classes and have decided it's going to be one of the two. Do they integrate speaking practice? Do they highlight any particular listening strategies? Is one easier to use for both Ts and Ss?

No offense, but why don't you get a free sample (review) copy?

I liked Tactics for Listening - and found it really easy to use. But, frankly, it was too easy for my university students and we blew through it rather quickly and I needed to pull out a lot of extra material for the end of the semester.

It was a while back - but if I recall it was integrated instruction - but in a listening class I don't always like that. Also - not a lot of instruction on linking and stress which I think are important.

CD with the teacher's book includes easy to print out quizzes for each unit, mid-term exam, and final exam. But . . . very easy exams and they didn't discriminate well between the better and less skilled students.

Thank you very much for that.
