1) our contracts are different
2) Our postings on this board are monitored. Posting that could...would, get us in trouble.

I'm looking to get a job at EF Tebet next year. If not there, I'll try EF Depok. Reason is that I've got a contact who is considering renting me a nice place in Pasar Minggu for 12 million a year. So either I can take a 5 minute bus ride to Tebet or 15 minute train ride to Depok. Let me know if you have any tips Demonicat.

PM me. For future reference, always PM EF employees on this board for an honest answer. Our posts are monitored and we are held accountable. Note, I do not plan to say anything negative, but some parties easily miscontrue things. Please PM.

Reading the posts is one thing but what about the Director of the Solo and Jogya schools who ran a keylogger program on all computers in his schools then hacked his staff's private email accounts?

Redefinition of insecurity, another reason his schools were removed from his charge.

ef swara does the same thing. at least i know for a fact that they read all the email and other things sent from the computers on at the school. that is why the encourage the teachers to use them. even the dos's computer is bugged. but i dont know if they actually hack the teachers accounts to read emails sent from other locations. a friend of mine was coming to the end of his second contract and indicated that he didnt want to continue for a third year. they fired him on payday, kept his salary, and gave him til the end of the day to move out of the teacher's house. he went to a lawyer and the head office in tamarin. the swara group stated that he broke his contract by looking for other work. they provided a copy of an email he sent in response to a job ad in the jkt post. they also alluded that he didnt like his job anyway based on emails sent to family and friends. in the end, he got his salary but lost all his completion bonus and airfare. he had to surrender his passport so they could process his EPO. demonicat, might be better if u went to a warnet for all your internet needs and if u made a new name to use on this forum.

also, the tebet branch must have improved a lot since last year when the old dos took a couple of senior teachers and they all did a runner to singapore to get away. and he was on his fourth contract. must have really been unbearable as he was only a couple of months shy of completing his contract. good luck 2 u

Yeah, avoid Tebet, Pluit and that whole Swara group. Run by Commie Chinese/Indo c*unts and their particular brand of 'micro management'.

Nasty - who do these scumbags think they are?

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say how happy I am with my school, and that my manager is a wonderful person - possibly the most beautiful, wonderful, intelligent, and generous person I have ever had the honour to meet (just in case you're reading this).

I'm gonna post a new topic on this one. Seems there's a lot of mischief going down in a lot of EF franchises.

There are a lot of keylogger detector/sweeper programs available that are small enough to fit into a flash disk. Many are available on free trial.

I could never condone such behaviour myself, of course, but there are also some rather nasty little programs that will fit onto a flash disk should you already have been shafted by one of these schools!

...I'm not too worried, a woman scorned is no match for a hacker scorned. Let me just privately say that, to those who are reading this:
I, and most other teachers, will be as good as we are treated. This is not a threat. Tret teachers with honesty and they will behave with honesty. Delete emails, read our personal fillial discussions, or fire us without cause...and we will respond in kind. Its a vicious or beautiful cycle.
