HELP! Can you tell me how to send boxes to CR if the post office doesn't keep them for pick-up. I've read the PO sends them to customs which makes you come back several times and charges alot of $$ on everything!!..I'm coming from China in a couple of weeks or sooner and have to send some things as i'm over weight for a suitcase. This is very important and getting critical!!..anyone who's been to CR and sent boxes there let me know how to do it?..i read do not even send boxes to CR...Please does anyone know?

The PO doesn't send everything to customs. just some things. it really just depends. i think its random. none of my stuff ever went to customs.... you could also send it to a specific person and have them pick it up for you. if you know a Tico, it might not get sent to customs.

oh, and another thing .... when you list whats in the package and whats it worth ... don't put everything down and don't list the expensive things as expensive. dont list books, etc.
