There's a popular and readily available product called "Negrustin" (Don't be sad, loosely translated)
I don't know what it contains.

That's funny. Do you know what the policy is if someone send you prescriptions by mail?

Don't even think about having prescriptions mailed to you. Russian mail is dicy enough for ordinary items.

Why don't you email one of the expat clinics in Moscow about the availabilty of medications. I.E. American Medical Center, European Medical Centre. Google them.

In Russia people NEVER give personal information about themselves to unknown outsiders unless they are forced to!!A look at the country's history will explain why to quite a large extent and privacy is something which is highly treasured, probably because it was-and often still is-so hard to obtain!
For anyone already suffering from depression,Russia is one of the last places I would recommend to overcome it!

Actually, I take antidepressants to treat mild anxiety. I appreciate the warning, but I'm not exactly looking to overcome anything. Life is hard. Americans think they can change that; Russians accept it. I think it will be a relief to be somewhere where people don't expect you to be happy all the time.
