to live there anymore.
Many FTs talk about how cheap China mainland is. Well I think it is a very expensive place, in fact, I cannot afford to live there now.
How come? Well I calculate RMB3,000 x 1 year/2 yrs/3 yrs/4... and I think about how I could earn 22,000 elsewhere during the same period of time and I conclude that I can't afford to live there even though I like the sound of the language and some other things. Has anyone got a solution? |

3000RMB a year?
You need to value yourself more highly than that; unless you are an uneducated back-packer passing through this fair land
At an International School as a specialist teacher (e.g. math/physics) you could earn your 22000 in one year!
btw China is a cheap place to live and work. Where else in the world would restaurants promote their dishes by giving you free beer? |

If you like the sound of Chinese, but you want to earn more money, Taiwan's the obvious place. Mostly kids, though. |
