I am about to buy my plane tickets to Japan (Tokyo) and all the tickets I can buy state, max stay 6 monthes or 1 year. As an Australian I can stay 1.5 years but I can't just specify my ticket as return 1.5 years as the WHV has to be extended after 6 monthes.
Is there anyway around this limitation, or will I have to bite the bullet and cancel the return ticket and pay for a new one later on in Japan? |

I have answered my own question if anyone is interested. The max stay possible for a return ticket is 1 year. Painful for those of us that can get a WHV for 1.5 years. Oh well, im not complaining  |
