I was wondering if any one knows about teacher other subjects in Thialand. For instance, Social Sciences, human services, social work, child development, counseling education etc. It does'nt matter what level, just wondering what else is out there? BTW I have the qualifications to teach any of those subjects. I am also open to all levels of education from secondary to vocational schools, community colleges, private schools and universities

Thanks for any information you can provide

This is quite common at the major international schools. However, what you consider appropriate qualifications might not be what they are looking for.

Usually, the "real" international schools are looking for 2-3 years experience in the public schools in your home country - and - a teaching certification from your home country/state/province.

Less "real" international schools though - are more flexible in what they accept in terms of qualifications.

Hi TED,

Thanks for commenting on my post. Your more than correct with the International Schools. Have no desire to get a teach certificate.
I was thinking more government schools, government and private community colleges, vocational schools and Universities.

TED,

Were you at now? Korea? Back in the land of smiles?
Maybe we can hang out if your around phuket in April or May.
The research on NGO's are coming along pretty good.....so it looks like I will be able to write off my vacation on my taxes next year Smile

Thanks agian TED

Been back in Thailand since late December. Let me know when you are here and I can catch you either in BKK or HKT - as I am back and forth regularly.
