There seems to be a lot of turn over among our Chinese English Teachers. The pay here is competative and working conditions are better than a lot of places, but most don't even stay a year.

Any ideas why that might be?

Not everything can be 'accounted' for. Working somewhere is a social equation, not a mathematical one. The treatment and attitude shown to employees will often matter much more to a foreigner then the end of the month salary. My last college lost 3 of 3 foreign teachers at the end of this last term for this reason.

'no idea. You must have an inkling, what's wrong with your school or Principal? are you throwing up a Red Flag!!?
Are the CETs leaving for one other school?
Does their dissatisfaction compare to yours?

'The grass is greener', but for CETs, it's much harder to get there. i've seen 'em stressed out at job interviews coming to this school, with a very good reputation
