I have searched the posts for a list, but did not find what I am looking for. Can anyone provide a names of schools and language institutes in BA?
I am considering doing a TEFL course in BA and want to prospect jobs before I do the course. Thanks.

I was looking for the same thing when I arrived and found this post http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=2040 that had a link to this website:
http://www.seaweb.org.ar/ (click on Centros de Idiomas and choose the area).
I would recommend calling first to see if the schools are still in business. I marked out a lot of the places on a map, went door to door and found that more than half the places had closed - some had been for a couple of years. I'm not sure if they have updated their site since I used it a year ago.
Good luck! |

This looks a bit outdated, the last post was in 2003.
Try google and if you don't find anything useful, ask the TEFL school you're going with to explain exactly how they are going to help you find a job. If you're attending a TEFL course in BA, part of the school's job is to help you find work. What I've decided to do is work for awhile in BA, then move on to other countries if I feel I want to and the TEFL school I'm attending is taking care of this. I don't have a lot of savings so I have to work right after the program so here's to hoping for the best. See you in BA.
