Ciao tutti!
I'm really hoping I can get some feedback on this!
I am reallllllllllllllllllllllly interested in learning the Italian language at an intermediate level. I have a good knowledge of the language already. I can speak it and understand it much better than I can read or write it.
Can anyone suggest good italian schools in Italy? I figure the best place to learn the language would be italy. Basically, i would like to become fluent in the language...maybe become a translator in the future!

Universities like Siena and Perugia offer Italian courses to foreigners (Universit per Stranieri). Also, as a student @ a Uni, you are eligible to work a certain amt. of hours per week - if you were interested in making some extra money.
The other option is attending private language schools - there are tons of these in Italy (like Eurocentres, etc.) Just type in Italian language schools into a search engine, and you'll get some results.
Good luck! |

Interesting question... I have no idea about the existence, or not, of Italian language schools.
I learned Italian by working there for a year - in a small town where I was unlikely to meet any other English speakers - and by having the good fortune to find an excellent teacher for my one lesson per week.
My reading and writing is still pisspoor but I can chat with an Italian no problem! |
