What bus (from the Shenzhen train station) goes to the border to Hong Kong?
note: My train will come in from Shanghai. And I believe the name of the border is Louhu |

There are two sstaions in Shenzhen I think. Not 100% certain.
The big train station isn't too far from the border.
About 1 km I think. There is a bus station there, but in my experience, bus stations are congragtion points for pickpockets.
Opposite the train are a couple of international hotels, I would suggets taking a taxi from there if you have luggage. |

there is one station in Shenzhen - at Lowu.
It's 5 - 7 min walk to the border check point. follow the signs to HK. you walk to the right as you come out of the station.
once through the china and hk immigration, you get the kcr from lowu station down to hk. |

From Shenzhen train station to the border - no bus! Use your feet or your wheelchair and move those 250 meters.
Buses do leave from the square in front of the station - to urban destinations; in the Commercial City nearby there is a bus station on the ground floor that has long-distance buses going to Fujian, Hunan, Guangxi and Hainan provinces and to Guangdong destinations.
If you want to use the other crossborder checkpoint at Huanggang, you had best take a cab to get there - will set you back around 20 kuai! Then another 7 HK dollars on the yellow shuttle bus to Santin, whence you can take a bus to Yuenlong or Sheungshui.
All other border entry points can only be negotiated by long-distance buses that originate or terminate in some Guangdong city and/or Hong Kong. The two other entry points are Mankamto (Wenjindu in Mandarin) and Shatoukok. |
