I am currently in Costa Rica. I am looking for a short term or long term assignment in Japan for my girlfriend and I that starts in Jan or Feb of 2007. I know this is specific but if anyone can help it would be appreciated. Thanks, Ben |

Ben, I suggest you have a degree or be from a country where you can get a working holiday visa. Then I suggest you start looking for a job in late November/early December/January. It's the summer man.
If you would like more specific information, I suggest you provide more details about yourself and your situation. I also suggest you use the search function and read more about Japan. To expect meaningful and helpful advice, that you want to hear, from a two-line throw it out there kind of statement seems silly.
However, all the information I have provided is valid and useful in your situation, given what you wrote. |

Not a heckuva lot of short-terms jobs in Japan. Westage Corporation seems to be one of the rare ones that offers a contract less than a year in length.
If you want more help, you're going to have to describe yourself more. |

Hmm, this thread is quite upsetting to look at!
Can't the both of you choose a nice picture, perhaps a pretty landscape, or a cute puppy (with fur!!) , maybe an attractive old building...
Don't you know that some of us have hangovers and are feeling queesy enough as it is??
just something for you to think about...
