Does anyone have any experience in Yunnan or Guizhou Province? I am going to Yunnan or Guizhou in about a month and I don't have a job yet. I would like to know of any good schools in these provinces, and I would like to know if it is feasible for me to travel to this area without a job and to search for a job once I am there. Thank you. |

There aren't too many jobs to go round in those provinces; they are China's poorhouses!
Many employers flout all relevant laws on hiring FTs! You stand a good chance of being shortchanged, cheated and enslaved!
I noticed a heavy influx of whites in Yunnan, seeking teaching positions. In Dali and nearby Xiaguan it's relatively easy - but you will never or seldom, find a legit employer!
Guizhou has only one city that's worth exploring for jobs: Guiyang. It's not a bad place - but you may find competition a little overwhelming! |

Eh. There are plenty of legit jobs in Kunming, they just don't pay much, nor are the very heavily advertised on the internet. |
