I have just arrived in Sendai-city and am having the hardest time trying to find a bank where I can withdraw money from an ATM with my Canadian Royal Bank Debit card. Does anyone know what bank I could do this from, or a bank with ATMs that have an English option?? I really need money but cant access it anywhere. It is cash only everywhere so I am screwed untill payday.

| Try the post office. When I was in Sendai I could use my Korean bank debit card to get money from the post office from my Korean bank. Try the Izumi Chuo post office. There was someone there who was quite fluent in English. Better part of the city as well so service is much better. |
