| Fast typing can and does lead to mistakes in spelling. However, as you have typed 'kindergarden' every single time that you wanted to type 'kindergarten' (apart from one when you typed 'kinder garden') I'm going to have to ask about your qualifications and where you photocopied the orginals. |

Philyyy,
A nursery and a kindergarden are not the same. |

| I'm all for a good school and all but I'm not stupid. I want a job that pays at least the average pay. I don't want to go take a job blindly and then find out that across the city someone else working the same job is making double or worse. This happens in China and it makes the teacher look like a putz. I am new when it comes to Poland but i am not an amature when it comes to pay. |
That doesn't really happen in Poland like it does in China.
Yes some people do get paid a lot, but that's only about 5% of all EFL teachers.
Most first year teachers were making about 30zl an hour after taxes (outside of Warsawa) when I was there in 2005.
You may be able to make a little more because you have experience. Yet you won't find as many opportunities teaching children as you did in China.
In Poland a large part of the market is teaching university students.
As some people pointed out, you probably don't want to make too many mistakes in Poland. Students can get pretty uptight when teachers make mistakes and as a result teachers in Poland tend to get uptight about that too.
Saying that, I actually did enjoy teaching in Poland more. Because at most schools you often repeat the same lesson again and again. Where as in China, although I teach less hours, I usually prepare a lesson once and teach it once.
Then it's back to the drawing board. |

Hi language professional, glad to see you think you are so important that you have to point out errors in other people's posts when yours is clearly not perfect. |

Actually, Mr. Freud's dodgy usage can be construed as correct if we take "yours" to be the singular pronoun standing in for "your particular post here, Khrystene." |

I believe Mr Shulgin may be attempting to emulate his friend, the late lamented Shakespearean scholar Crogo, in his hilariously flawed attempts at improving grammatical accuracy on this board.

Actually, there is no irony in it in relation to my posts, because I do not profess to be a language professional and don't care if my posts have errors. I think an accurate word for someone who points out errors in people's posts and makes errors themselves would be HYPOCRITE.

I agree.
Pointing out errors is just rude.
When someone takes pride in their knowledge of grammar of their native tongue I always have to wonder if they suffer from self-esteem issues.

| So to get back on topic I'm looking to get a company that supplies a home and air port pick up and all the minor detail. I've read the forum and 3200 is the most common newbe pay. What would be a good city and school to start off with. I'm not looking to make great money my first year i just want to have a decent job and acomadation taken care of. |

This is called a "soft landing."
I think IH does it, but the pay isn't as high.
You do realize that you're going to Europe and it's just as easy to do these things by yourself, don't you?
Just stay at a hostel for a few days and then you can choose your own apartment.
Besides you may as well see the schools you're thinking of working at before you sign anything.
Ok. Now back to hijacking your thread. |

| You might want to try the Word School in Tarnobrzeg. It is kind of out of the way, but it is close enough to Krakow that weekends are not out of the question. |
