I am new to this forum and choose China as my first assignment. Later on, I wish to teach in Germany.
So, where in China makes a good first assignment? Suggestions are requested.
Thank you |

China is a good place to teach. There's also alot of information posted over on www.journeyeast.org and they offer free pre-trip consulting.. |

ha, if you like pollution and Chinese people trying to rip you off all the time. The only thing China is good for is to learn the language and use it later to make money.

Hmm, where do you make money knowing Chinese besides China but, you hate China, so where? I mean real money not I'm a translator for Chinese immigrants or a tour guide type money. I'm curious. It's such a ridiculous language!! I cannot believe when people say things like "oh Chinese will be the world language" Yea, right maybe if Chinese people could understand eachother let alone when someone who's not Chinese speaks it! Being in China hasn't made me want to learn Chinese at all. It's made me want to speak French all the time, practice my false french-canadian accent and pretend like I don't understand when random Chinese people start speaking English to me. I'm not friendly. It's just too bad my French is terrible but, as long as I'm not near any French speakers (and unfortunately I'm not) it doesn't matter. |

Doing business with the world's largest country. One American started a $360 million plant in China. The classifies as real money in my book and if he had know Chinese his first business in China may not have failed.
P.S. His first business failed due to not knowing that a non-competition clause did not translate into Mandarin and the guy who sold him the business went right down the road and opened up the exact same business as he sold to the American business man.

Where does it say that I hate China? I am just saying that I don't think that it is a good place to teach. Not thinking a place is good does not mean that someone hates it. That also does not mean that I would not set up a business in China if I could. |

Can you provide a link to your information please? I never heard of an American (let alone anyone) making that much money in China. Even Bill Gates only made 8 Billion from China. |
