I am overwhelmed at the job opportunities in China. Can anyone tell me what organization/school/recruitment center lives up to their promises? I can adapt to weather, people, food, whatever, but I am concerned about not receiving the teacher support from the school admin when needed, getting paid on time and getting paid what was promised in the contract, health coverage, housing, etc, etc.

This may be a tough question to get a reply to.

People will generally be very quick to criticise but find it difficult to stand up in front of others and be positive. You may want to rtefine your question into individual sections such as providing support, paying on time etc. in order to get a better level of reponse.

Since everything changes fast in China ..at least when it come to quality...it is hard to say any organization or school will be "good" all of the time..depends on the FAO.and the owner..and what financial shape he is in..at the time of your employment...as it is not policy but perople who provide the quality of service you are looking for..I prefer foreign own and operated work units..but this also is no guarntee...the best thing to do is to pm some of the folks on this board and they can recommend some school..I have a few that I recommend to anyone who contacts me..but rarely put the names on this board because Dave..the guy who owns this board...sells advertising...
