Hi everyone,

A relative and her partner are coming to visit me here in Madrid in early October for a couple of weeks. I live in a very tiny apartment in the center of the city (near Retiro) and because I don't have enough space, I need to help them find a place to stay.

I've been looking at various hotels and guesthouses, some which look OK, but I'm wondering if any of you have put visitors up when they visited you in Madrid. If so, is there a place you'd recommend?

Try a website called venamicasa.com.

You stay in someones house or flat and its quite cheap compared to some hotels. Also you get to know some true Madrilenos as well!
