| I searched this board for info but came up with nothing. Is anyone familiar with Dubai University College, soon to be Dubai University. Any insight into hiring practices, work environment, benefits etc. would be great! |

Pay is on the low side, accommodation basic. Facilities and working conditions at the university are adequate but not outstanding. On the plus side, it's well established so systems are in place and it's not likely to disappear in the near future.
All in all, not the best job you could get in Dubai, but not the worst either. |

| Nothing to do with DUC but does anyone know anything about the new Centennial University that is opening in Dubai- they had a whole page ad (for students not faculty) in the Gulf News this week. I know they have connections with Centennial in Canada and Bin Hendi but has anyone seen any jobs advertised there or have they brought all their faculty from Canada ? |
