just like Dalian..the EFers were happy with the school and the company..so what is so bad about EF ..if the employees are happy and identify a particular BAD EF..no problem...but you have attacked any and all that do not agree with your scorch earth policy towards EF..

Exactly.

Anyone who blindly supports or condemns a chain of schools solely based upon the name on the door is kidding him or herself and misleading others. The fact remains that some EF schools are bad, some are good, and the rest fall somewhere in the middle. Anyone who took up the earlier suggestion to search this forum for my posts about EF in the past would clearly see that this is what I do here - I try to identify which are the EF schools that don't have good track records and which ones do as this is valuable information that actually helps teachers.

As to the question of whether or not I have worked for EF well I have never answered this and never will. If I state that I have then some will suggest that I must therefore be an EF crony. If I state that I haven't then the very same people will try to suggest that I don't know what I am talking about. It's interesting how EG automatically jumps to the conclusion that I haven't worked there though - kind of raises questions about how willing he is to go off on a tangent without evidence to support his claims. I certainly do not feel the need to validate myself - argue the point, not the person making the point. If I am wrong in what I state here about EF then feel free to explain where and how.

More importantly though EG why not take the time to explain the points that you have made and that I questioned in my earlier post. Surely you should be able to support those accusations as you were the one who made them.

I think most normal people would take it as an act of honesty if you ever did care to answer that question - any conclusions they come to thereafter are their own problem Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
Why do you dodge so many questions Clarkie Question

Even though I have disagreed with Clark in the past this time I can find no fault....he is dead on...about this...English will draw conclusions based on a shotgun approach of dissatisfaction without ever going into specifics..to publicise his tangent without evidence ..and to use diversionary tactics such as re posting someone else's weak post as proof, illustrates a lack of support for those accusations.

If English has a grip ..then lets hear it...

I take the good with the bad. As I see it, from what the few of you had griped about. The EF company is not as bad as it looks. I have seen more good reviews from all the websites I have been to than bad reviews. The only bad reviews come from the same few people who frequent all these sites.

I have reviewed blacklists of school, I have gone to many teachers posts for china.

One thing I know is that a person cant base all they know aobut a company, from the post of a few individuals who might have had problems with management.

It is like with any place you go. YOU cant base your decision based on the facts of a few disgruntled employees.

Every company is going to have itd good points and it bad. The will be the same no matter where you go. The best thing to do is do the best you can.

Eveyone says that there aer lots of jobs in china for English teachers. If the first one is not what you expected, you will know that another is right around the corner.

Someone replied:

This has obviously been written by a Chinese person. The errors in syntax and the choice of phrasing - as in translated Chinese proverbs - are all too familiar.

Please, no liars or cheats on this forum. You work for EF and have been told to post this. That much is obvious.

Keep it coming and "jumping" ladies Smile ...there aren't any "automatic conclusions" on here, are there?

Peace to ya all

I thank the posters who came here and posted honest accounts of their experiences at EF.

I'm not sure why one monomaniacal poster with a visceral hatred of EF keeps beating the same old drum (okay, maybe because they fired him) here.

Lets try to help folks here. It doesn't help newbies if the shills and haters dominate this forum.

Englishgibson, a bit of advice, don't hate the player, hate the game.

Time to stop your hating. Let it go. They fired you. So what? Move on.

If you can't be impartial, you can't be useful to the newbies here.

Peace and tranquility man. Now go and smell the flowers.
