Hi,
just a quick question this time

I am planning to take my laptop to Riga with me and was just wondering about the possibility of getting internet set up in my flat (bearing in mind I'm computer semiliterate! Rolling Eyes ) Is broadband quite regularly available, or would it more likely to be dial-up? How much would it be roughly? At the moment, I have wireless internet set up, but as my computer is quite old and doesn't like to be unplugged from the mains power for any length of time, I'm not too fussed about that.

Any advice regarding internet providers, etc.. would be great!

Thanks
Tina

Yes, you can get broadband, but I don't know if it's available everywhere. Certainly in Riga and the bigger places, though.

Here's a link to a provider:

Lattelekom is a majority shareholder, so it ought to be reputable.
