oh purrrrlease!!! She was being rude, presumptuous and arrogant... my point was if she is going to discuss contentious issues she's got to be prepared for people not agreeing with her views instead of getting her knickers in a twist! Laughing

NewTEFLer,

No, no, nobdy was being rude. They were people merely engaged in a disagreement. When you don't agree with someone, that doesn't mean they're being rude. I didn't see Noola getting her knickers into a twist. Although you certainly have. Friend, stop handing out advice to people about how to act on a discussion board. Stop dreaming of rudeness that simply doesn't exist. Isn't it rude and presumptuous to assume someone was getting bent out of shape about a heated discussion when that wasn't the case? I also didn't see you calling anyone else out on their "rude" behavior in the same discussion. Isn't it rude to single out one person for having an opionion when clearly everyone involved in the discussion has an opinion? Isn't it presumptuous to assume that someone is feeling vicimized when you don't know how someone is feeling?
