hello,
just a few quick questions about teaching english in Vietnam
If we do choose Vietnam we will be heading out there with just our degrees and an introductionary TEFL certificate and no teaching experience.
with this in mind are jobs easy to come by? also can anyone recommend any reputable websites
as it will be me and my girlfriend we will be looking to live together. Would it therefore be better to sort out our own accomadation?
any general advice about living in vietnam would be greatly appreciated
cheers |

Yeah jobs are easy to come by, but with no experience, expect to get offered less than $15/hour. Maybe even $12/hour. If you are good looking (attractive) like me expect to get higher offer.

The only reputable website is here in Dave's. Normally, it's very rare that Viet school will ever advertise wanted ad in the web. Best way to apply is just come to Viet first and apply yourself. There are plenty of language school in Viet. Most sucks but some are okay.

Yep. Just come and you'll find one for very cheap price or you'll get ripped off. There are plenty of accomodations. Expect newby foreigner to get ripped off until you learn the ropes. |
