Hello.

I have been offered a short contract in Qingdao (it was supposed to be in Hubei, but the gods are smiling on me). What is the city like to live in? I'll only be there for four months. I've lived in Suzhou before and thought the city was lovely. Any comparisons?

Is it a public school (middle school, college, university)? I can probably tell you the area if you can provide the name of the school. Also, do a search on the word "qingdao" and you will find quite a few posts on the city.

Your clothes will never dry. My friends there smell like mildew. Qingdao has high humidity and frequent drizzle. Advise: secure a dryer, dehumidifier or packets of silicon dioxide or a good laundry.
Other than that, you will love Qingdao.
