Well, SUNDAY is actually Teacher's Day this year (isn't that clever?), but I've already been feted with a gift of a coffee set (coffee with creamer) and a bottle of French Cognac. Very nice to be sure and I certainly appreciate the gesture. Sadly, I don't drink coffee nor liquor (Liquor? I barely know 'er!  ), so they may end up being regifted come Christmas-time. Shhhh! Don't tell the parents! |

Yesterday Teachers' Day was celebrated here. I had to give a speech, and later, endure the teachers' dinner banquet and beer toasting-sloshing in little paper cups.
No such gifts again for me (for the 3rd year)... I'm envious of you, Kev, and your Cognac. (Not really).
I count my blessings, and wait for the Mid-Autumn Festival hoopla . |
