Well, at the last high energy symposium I went to I heard some absolutely dreadful flaming. I'll give an example and hope it makes it past robocop and the mods. It went (something) like this:
'Oh, yeah? Well, (y7/x) + (m2h1fe3-t5) = '
NO! I just can't bring myself to say it! There are ladies present.
And as for those wicked entomologists and the unspeakable things they do with a caterpillar, some chicken wire and a roll of duct tape!
U drive me crazy!
U f*beep* (oops) light up my life. |

Oops! How P un-C of me! Profuse apologies to all affected persons.
While there are many females here and I openly acknowledge that they are, or seem to be (to the best of my digital knowledge) women, I did not mean to imply in any manner whatsoever that any of them are ladies!
Raises an interesting question though. Language is evolutionary, especially informal and slang streams. 'Ladies' once clearly meant a female of the upper socio-economic class (often British nobility) but over time devolved to mean any woman of a marriageable age, then on to any woman over a legal or societally-accepted age that defined them as 'no longer a girl'.
Is 'lady' a loaded word now? What say the l...err...women? Caperwoman, care to answer? |

Hola!
I am married to a Chinese woman. I alos lived in Korea and have seen many Korean women. In my humble opinion Korean women are the best looking women in Asia. But there are beautiful Chinese women in abundence here, (Lucy Liu for example, looks good, but here, she would not be looked at closely.
Ok physical features, Asian women do not get fat as they get older. My wife has a friend who is about 42 whose body shape looks like a teenager. Asian women by and large do not have big *beep*. If you idea of a sexy woman is Dolly Parton, Asia is not for you. My wife and her niece (who lives with me) have small *beep* but are both beautiful to the max. They make up for chest by having a beautiful backside. Asian women have back. Period.
I think emotionally these women are not that much different that western women. For example, my wife got her hair styled, which to me looked like crap (it was all curly, tangled and short). I told her how beautiful it was, even though we both agreed it was ugly. The women here will not tell you what they want and will say the opposite of what they want you to do. That's women.
The sexes to me are similiar to races and cultures. Women as well as men have issues, and it is the same worldwide.

Wait a second... Senor--parts of your post seem to be very balanced, like the last paragraph, but parts seem to me to rehash this whole issue ("Asian women do not get fat as they get older"--may be statistically true, but has some negative implications about us Western gals)--just when it seemed we were all coming to some sort of happy, group-huggy-type, agree-to-disagree solution. I was actually very impressed with the way this thread kinda found peace with itself.
Round 2?

Oh, good Lord. Or Bhudda. Or CCP. Or Nothing. Take your pick.
biffinbridge and Capegirl agree on something.
I would have uploaded my "flamin' wolf" avatar and made a giant tirade about what happens to Western mens' waistlines as age comes on (it's the diet. I'm walking proof), but both extremists have thrown in the towel.
Congrads, senor, on a happy marriage, though. |

Marriage? Who posted anything about marriage?
I meant that your last post and hers were of similar content. I was remarking on what a rare occasion that was. That's all. |

OMG!!! Is Senor Boogie Woogie for real??? He can't be! For one thing, how inappropriate. Did he even read the first page?
Oh, well. Sorry Capergirl!
But I just gotta say,"Asian women have back. Period."
I think that should be question mark. Asian women are famous for their flat asses. My Japanese guy complains about it all the time. He says they are too low.
Black women have back. Jennifer Lopez has back.
I would love to have back; unfortunately I got my Tlingit genes and look like a stick.
The whole post was just weird. How old is your neice? Should you be looking at her ass? |

Alas back from the ravages of Hurricane Juan and subsequent outage I shall post my 2 bits worth. I think these men with the negative opinions make a lot of assumptions as I don't see most Western women the way they do. Maybe you should talk more or perhaps that's what you don't want and hence the foreign women.
On the other hand it really doesn't bother me to hear these negativities simply because once I left the Western World I realized how much the men there were lacking. Your roles are so narrowly defined, it must be a taste of freedom to be somewhere else. The men in other parts of the world just seem gentler, more balanced and generally nicer to be around. Kind of what you say about the foreign women so guess it's your culture you don't like.
Actually there are a few like the above on here but not many. Wolf, Rockwolf and Roger come to mind for starters. |

I don't think there's anything unnatural about looking at your best mate's mum. You are a man after all. But I AM sickend by the suggestion that you'd look at you neice. It's getting uncomfortably close to pedophilia.

| For starters,if J-Lo was my neice it wouldn't necessarily mean she was younger than me.Secondly, I used a second conditional,(function-hypothetical situations),so I was clearly stating something that is not and will never be possible, because I am not related to her in any way. So before you start suggesting that this father is a paedophile go read a grammar book and look up conditionals,(form and function). After that go buy a large pot of vaseline cos you'll need it to prize your head out of your ass. |
