BTW I noticed the link to the spanish-interculturala.com site in Costa Rica is for their Spanish school. The ESL job link is actually http://www.interculturacostarica.com/efl_program.html
You have provided a great place to start researching however.

I just wanted to add a link to the list, www.coachenglish.com. Its the recruitment program por Venezuela-based OptimalEnglish, a growing start-up that concentrates on the corporate market. The site has good info on Caracas. |

Currently hiring English/Spanish/French/Japanese teachers. I got my first EFL teaching job with them straight out of ITTO Guadalajara. They teach business English to company classes and families of executives, etc. They employ both qualified and unqualified teachers depending on experience and based on an interview. They offer comprehensive training to teachers who sign a contract with them. The length of a contract is decided on a case by case basis. IBI will also help you to get your FM3 and sort out any paperwork for you. I currently work 6 hours a day, teaching part-time and working in the office, wish has helped my Spanish a lot! Please PM me if youre interested or have any questions! |

Thanks for all the great school info. I have a few questions as a somewhat clueless beginner in this field. I have just finished an onling TEFL class and I have a bachelors degree but not a lot of teaching experience. I want to go and teach in Latin America, perhaps Costa Rica,Chile, or Brazil. I am seeking advice about how and where to begin my search if anyone has any experience with this? Any info is much apprecited! Thanks-Tricia |

Try Piura, the University of Piura usually needs teachers. |

Another site that lists opportunities to volunteer as a teacher, or while you are teaching is www.vaops.com |
