Thank you Glenski, appreciate that. And thanks for the handshake, I needed that. Yes, I am cracking under the pressure and this serves as an example of what to expect here after 15 years of teaching English.
Thanks for the support everybody. And a special thank you to the one poster who pm'd recently out of the blue to tell me of a possible job opening at the school she works at. Everything is going to work out for us, it won't be much longer. Enshalla.

Enjoy yourself Glenski.

I assume you're not drunk posting today, and that a good night's rest as cleared your head. Are you now willing to appologize for your childish behaviour and inappropriate langue you used yesterday evening? Can you use this opportunity to admit you were wrong, which we proved at your request, citing posts and quotes?

You can just say a simple, "I'm sorry people. Yes, I was wrong. I promise not to misrepresent myself, give false and misleading information to newbies wanting to come to Japan and that I do agree to think before I post." would be an excellent start and a chance to turn over a new leaf for you. Without doing something like that, your appologies will continue to be just some sort of silly game that amuses yourself and really doesn't hold any value.

Prove that you are sincere. We're waiting.

Sweetsee,
Just to let you know, in the few exchanges that I had with you regarding to (what I now believe was) your wife's pregnancy, you led me to believe that you were a woman in her mid 40s expecting a baby. When later it became obvious that you are a man, (whether it was your intention or not) I felt terrible. I offered you sympathy and advice. I have been posting and reading Daves since the mid 90s--when it was that old format, remember that anyone? And posts only went up once a day? Anyway, I have always tried to be constructive in my posts and sure I have been flamed, but I never felt as badly as I did when you deceived me and I stopped posting for a while.

Rolling Eyes

No, this serves as an example of what happens when someone continually misrepresents himself and posts--again, in my opinion, intentionally--misleading and/or totally false information to newbies.

As it was my post which started this "outing," I want to add that I do not personally know Canuck, Ali, or Sweetsee, and I have only a passing acquaintance with Paulh and Glenski outside of this list. Hence, there is no organized "plot" to "get" Sweetsee here. I posted what I did because of his pattern (now documented through numerous posted links and direct quotes) of posting untruthful, and potentially harmful, stuff.

Indeed, the recent Sweetsee post I linked to about Japanese cops and their "leniency" towards drug use appears in a thread that comes after different threads about the strictness of Japan's judicial system and what j*rks Japanese cops can be towards foreigners (especially if caught with drugs). Numerous links were offered as proof of this reality, not to mention personal anecdotes from people with actual experience with the Japanese system. Hence, even assuming Sweetsee was originally ignorant of the situation here, his post in that thread could not have been out of ignorance.

Paulh and Glenski know what I do and where--it is a challenging, and very stressful, job, with helping people out here occasionally one way to relieve the stress. I had assumed most of us long-termers were here for similar reasons. It's saddening to find that some of us have free time yet use it in attempts to lie and deceive people....

Blaphemous heathen, may the Lord have mercy on your wretched soul.
I answer to those who have taken the time to establish rapport with me. I am not responsible for correcting people's false assumptions when they lack common decency. Want to know me, make an effort.

Enjoy,

Are you sure you wouldn't like me to bring the dessert trolley around,
perhaps a digestive this evening?
