Yes, many in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima, Sapporo, Wakayama.
Better yet, are there cheap Korean one month to two month Korean languages courses? Are they to be had? And where?
Your questions need to be more specific and your avatar needs an adjustment. It's too big. 80x80 or less. |

Local government usually provides very, very cheap classes taught by volunteers. They are really good and just as effective as lessons costing 100 times more. You will almost certainly use Mina no Nihongo, although my class provided their own book (I think the lessons were in Itabashi?)
p.s. Deicide your sig gives me the heebie-jeebies |

Look how silly your question is. Can you be any more vague? I call 'em like most of the world seems 'em.
Seriously, if you would like help about coming to Japan, post some specific questions. It's like saying, "I have a friend in South Korea. His name is Kim. Do you know him?"
About time that avatar is gone. Now I can browse and read this site in peace! |

I agree canuck usaully puts up strange and offensive avatars just to be controversial.
Anyway, there are lots of courses you can do in Japn. Some of them are very intensive and I think it is good that you want to get off on the right foot and learn Japanese early. Some people spend years here and never learn anything. My japanese is not very good yet but I hope I won't be heere in three years time and saying I'm going to start leaarning Japanese with the Heisig mehtod. Unlike canuck |

So your Japanese sucks...figures. You have no idea who I am, what my Japanese ability is or anything of substance to add, do you. Jim's been here longer than I have and he's giving Heisig's system a go. I'm always looking to improve my Japanese. Who isn't?
Seriously, you come on this site, as a newbie, throwing around stuff you don't know. When you're proven wrong, you shake it off, and don't even respond. Are you another Sweetsee in training?
You might want to consider improving your spelling, before tackling your horrid Japanese. |

Thanks. Needed a change anyways. But here it was:
People complaining about pregnant women... Sweetsee had no problem pretending to be one.

Look!
My spelling mistakes are normal for a forum. You're not the hottest speller yourself amigo Don't bring Jim into this, it's not him who has a go at newbies for being a bit naive. Newbies are always a bit naive that's why their newbies. I think you could be a little more nice to newbies because you were a newbie oonce. I never said I had great Japanese but help a newbie out sometime won't you? If you go to a new place and a new job and ask questions and your boss says "Oh don't you know that already" then you stop asking questions because you are embarrassed to do it. Then you make a mistake because yoiu never learned anything form your superiors and then the boss gets angry. I hope you don't teach English, if you do ....Do you treat your students like this?
Deicide asked a perfectly simple question and you jump on him. Not fair! |

How is a picture of a pregnant woman disgusting or offensive??
Also, Canuck, I'd like to set you a challenge - write your next 10 posts without useing the rolling-eyes face. It'll be tough I know, but I have faith in you
And as for your new link on your signature - let it go. Deep breath and repeat after me 'it's only an internet forum...' |
