hey, i'm currently gettin tefl certified in santiago, chile right now, but i'm thinkin of movin to b.a. once my course is done in about 3 weeks to actually teach and more settle down for a bit. i haven't done much research yet on the cost differences but i'm a bit confused. rent here in santiago is about $240 a month for a room, but from what i've seen so far it's much more expensive in b.a. yet, everyone i talk to says b.a. is so much cheaper than chile...so i don't get it. is it because i'd be making more teaching or is housing just more expensive? also, i was wondering how hard it is to find work there. is it about the same situation where classes start in march generally? do most people just do private classes? oh and also how is argentinian spanish cause chilean spanish isn't exactly what i'd call optimal for my learning. thanks in advance.
