Hi I've just been offered a job at Peritus Callan School in Warsaw, the pay is 35zl per 50 minutes net.
Could I have some advice on what people think of this pay, from searches of past topics it doesn't seem like much.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks |

1) It's Callan, so you'll be banging your head against the wall and dribbling from boredom come Christmas
2) 35PLN for 50m is shockingly low, and you should tell them that. There are plenty of other schools that pay more, including Callan ones.
3) They run 21 "schools" around Warsaw - you'll either be doing a LOT of travelling, or at least expect some trouble with management (constantly double-booking you and it'll be your fault for that, of course) |

Thanks for the info, I thought it was ridiculously low. I will tell them what I think of the pay, I'm surprised they have any native teachers at all. |

It's Callan - they mop up on young unqualified nervous natives (gap yearers and the like.) A minimum Warsaw starting salary if you have a cert is 50PLN for 60 minutes, on a legit contract. |
