| Should I give up beer for Ramadan? No, my upbringing tells me it is a matter of choice. |
It's like lent isn't it? I remember back in the UK people used give up stuff like chocolate or go on a diet, which is hardly spiritual. But then again nor is religion. |
Why is religion not spiritual? |
Organised religion tends to be centred around dogma than real inner spirituality. |

Arrggggg! I have very dark rings under my eyes and I want to search out and destroy the architect who designed this "building" I live in. The walls hold nothing back. At nearly 4am the alarms start going off. Then my neighbour, whose kitchen is on the other side of my bedroom wall , starts rattling pots and pans and making tea, shortly later that drummer (sputtering and spitting as I write) comes boom BOOM BOOM down the sokak, setting off car alarms. THEN my kid wakes up, crying. |
