Hi
I was just wondering if having a partner increases your employment chances.I have a freind who is also interested in Dubai and we have been told that our chances are better if we apply as a couple. How would this work ?Do we have to be married or is being boyfreind?girlfreind enough ? |

Only if you've been dating for more than six months and have testimony from each other's parents attesting to the purity of the relationship ... |

Married couples only... this is the Middle East... I suggest a bit of study on Islam and the laws of Islamic countries.
Unmarried cohabitation is by law punishable by imprisonment, lashing, and deportation. It is almost never enforced against two westerners, but it has been done and 'theoretically' it could be again. There is higher risk if one of you is not a 'westerner.'
So, do you expect that any employers would knowingly hire a cohabiting couple? Most will turn a blind eye to your lifestyle away from work as long as you are discreet, but you will have to be hired separately.

Partners... Boyfriend, girlfriend; that 's so sweet! I don't know how anyone could turn you down. |
