hey there,
i'm looking for a six month contract in Buenos Aires. does anyone already have one and could you please tell me if you secured it ahead of time or went to Buenos Aires first? Most of the contracts that can be obtained before the fact are a year long and unfortunately I have commitments that would render it impossible for me to do a year abroad. I know six month contracts exist, but I'm wondering if someone who already has one can point my in the direction of a good school which has a contract of this length and give me some pointers.
Much appreciated! |

yeah, no contracts! But I see this as an advantage. The demand seems to be high right now so unless you are a terrible teacher you will keep your job. Plus it means you can exit at any point (the day after you get paid is probably best!). You won't have a problem teaching for 6 months, just mention that you want to stay here for 9 or 12 months! |
