This was a royal decree for Saudis only - sounds nice enough to think about, but this applied to Saudi government workers, and not only teachers. The increase was voluntarily followed by a few private companies as well, but not all.

At the time there was some speculation about who was to receive tghis. Saudis only as it turned out.

Foreigners (or some of them) in our institution had just received a salary increase, so really we were not surpriseds that we did not get the 15 percent.

Whats this tghis of which you speak? My Arabic dictionary doesnt mention any such thing.

Did you BUY that dictionary ? If so then we will have to report this to the Finance and General Purposes Committee of the 500 Club. Such spendthrift behaviour is not becoming to one of that elite body.

I have also noticed a percentage increase in Van Norden's club policies...from 300 to 500 in such a short period of time?!

The dictionary was a free online one Scot.

Q, no change in the policies - they booted me out of 300! I had overlooked a couple of regular monthly expenses. Whatever, 500 aint so bad. Better than Scot's CLUB 3000!
