hi
moving to Kuwait,
do I need to have any medical tests done before entering kuwait?
Any vaccines required before i leave for Kuwait?
please advise....
is food and cold drinks reasonably priced in kuwait?
Is there adequate pharmacies in kuwait,do they have same medicines as the western countries?and is it expensive?
lastly is there also any phsycologist/physiatrist in kuwait?

Your employer should inform you of any medical tests, but I believe that they are done once you arrive. You may also want to check with your employer concerning how much this will cost you. No vaccines required other than those you should have in your own country.

It is hard to answer on food prices as we all have a different definition of what is a reasonable price for food. Since everything is imported, it is not cheap. Fruits and vegetables are normally better priced than canned or frozen foods from somewhere like the US. There are plenty of pharmacies, prescriptions are only required for narcotics, and to an American (used to paying the highest drug prices in the world) they seemed dirt cheap. Don't know anything about psychologists.

As an English speaker u could go to meet the best Psychologist in Kuwait who is a friendly Yemeni/American Dr Saeed, as in his evening free time he also welcomes Westerners to a Cultural Centre, where he is the Deputy Manager.
Dr Saeed is living proof that Muslim men are nice guys and he clearly explains misconceptions of Islam to innumerous Western visitors.
He is really helpful and has a great sense of humour.
