Well, I had an interesting cat experience one evening in GDL. My friends and i were on our way to el centro to have some fun. On our street, we came upon a man, a woman, a child and a cat. The man was wielding a machete and at his feet was a recently decatpitated cat. Needless to say, it was a shocking and horrifying sight. I asked him what he was doing and in a crazed and threatening voice, he told me it was none of my business. That was good enough for me. Who knows what the hell was going on there on that quiet, residential street at around 10 p.m. but really, I didn't want to probe. People were coming up with all kinds of theories and explainations varying from the satanic to cat disease. All I can say is, if I had a cat, I might want to keep it inside after seeing that in my old neighbourhood. (Yes, I'm sure it was a unique episode of cat brutality....)
