| I often wonder that little japanese schoolboys have to wear short shorts with short socks or kneesocks in the middle of winter with freezing temperatures. It is pityful to see them with nacked goosepimpled thighs and knees bluish by cold. |

Probably for the same reason as Japanese schoolgirls having to wear very short and I might add, very cute skirts.
Rather than seeing them as pityful, I find it very pleasing on the eye and it warms me up on a cold winters morning. |

I think we had this discussion already. NZ school boys and girls also wear shorts and skirts in winter (although we don't wear our skirts so short) and complaining about the cold is considered babyish. It's supposed to build character.  |

The schools don't advocate schoolgirls to wear their skirts so high. The girls do it more for fashion or to "look cool" or be rebellious. It seems like schools always try to crack down on this but doesn't seem to be working. |

It seems extremely outdated that the girls' uniforms don't include pants. Considering the fact that most public high schools don't heat the classrooms, this is just abuse in the name of "character-building". With all the colds and 'flus on the go, it seems to me that schools would want to reduce sickness, by letting the kids warm up. (Same for the schoolboys in short shorts.)
Since when is it the responsibility of CHILDREN to present their bodies to be enjoyed by adults while suffering from cold? Only pervs and sadists will be attracted to these kinds of displays. |

| I think the short dresses on the girls rock. Maybe they are bit long and could even be shorter. Was talking to a Japanese female student, and she said that all girls know how to avoid exposing themselves when wearing their shortened skirts. I don't know what that would be, but it's sometimes funny to see the girls walking up the elevators holding books and stuff behind them covering their buts |

Stick to your eikaiwa and stay away from all children in junior and senior high schools, unless you have parental supervision. |

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this whatsoever.
You mereley have a problem with this because the girls in question are still at school.
Take them out of school and put them in short skirts and you wouldn't have a problem..... |
