What is the title of this thread? It is 'why did you leave the Middle East?' Why is it that Prodiigy and Abba want to turn every thread into a discussion of Saudi Arabia? This is NOT the only country in the Middle East... ilhamdulillah!!

Thank you VS for your remark. Yes, you are right; SA is NOT the only country in the Middle East... Ilhamdulillah Wa Shukran!

I did not start the discussion of SA, I just replied to some of the posts concerning SA, that's all.
My apology.

..Mr one-note Prodiigy insists on warping his own particular KSA experience and personal negativity into the only ME reality... which is ridiculous at best.

I think if we take the ME as a whole, its positive side is far exceeding its negative side!

Come to think of it, I cannot recollect if the 25 martyrs in the Oasis Compound had their heads chopped off or their throats slit.

Perhaps Ustadh Abba can enlighten us on the activities of his co-religionists.

It depends on your eye's colour! If your eyes are blue (like Scots one) your head will be chopped off, if your eyes are green, your throat will be slit!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Thats why our friend Scot47, the Scottish, escaped and run away from the Oasis compound, and left his countermen dying without help and support.
This is what I call Scottish-hood bravery of Mr Scot47.

I thought that it was the job of the Saudi Security Forces to protect the expats working in their country.

I don't think this is the job of an EFL teacher. Abba... I think you are walking a very fine line here and I hope the moderators are taking note.

I am not sure about listening to Maghrebi Maths teachers domicled in London whose hidden agenda is the creation of the 'New Khalifate' covering all of Planet Terra.

Scot47 is also walking a very very fine line here and I also hope the moderators are taking note of his remarks as well, because he started the game.

For someone who holds himself in such high regard, don't you find the continued use of the playground argument 'he started it' to be rather beneath you ...
