Hi,
Im going to Tokyo on a WHV (im Canadian) in January. I have no degree (Im taking ayear off university) or TESOL certification. I have an esl tutoring background however.
Will it be very difficult for me to find work? Im certainly willing to work hard and apply to as many places as possible.
thanks |

Head to Roppongi and get a job in a bar.
If you want to instruct English conversation then head to GABA I hear they'll take just about anyone. The pay is awful though so bar work may be better. |

Bar work is prohibited on a working holiday visa. |

I hate to say this, but I have known people who were quite happy working for GABA. It would be at least a possibility for the OP if he/she can't find anything better. |
