Yeah yeah-I know! It's an ESL site, but I'm asking you overlook my non-esl question just this once. 
I'm going back to the UAE in January to visit friends, so obviously I'll be on a visitor's visa. I would like to drive to Oman to visit a friend there, as well. How easy/hard is it for tourists of the UAE to get into Oman by road?
