I'm going to Guayaquil this weekend for my Peruvian visa and have been told that I need to go to Banco del Pacifico to deposit money for my visa.

My question is: does this bank usually have long lines? Anyone know what time they open?

Most branches will open around ten- ask (call) in the consulate if there's a particular branch you need to go to. (probably there is)

Lines are an imponderable. Lots of places have long lines. Some don't. You'll just have to see... Like most things in Latin America...

I'd recommend Ecuahogar as a nice, secure, quiet hostel...
