I am having a real dilemma here.
I am looking for books to quickly and effectively decribe common grammar terms for intermediate LOW and HIGH english.
I'm the kind of person that knows how to use english for the most part, but doesn't know how to explain the terms and rules so well.
Can anyone suggest a website or perhaps a good book or pdf I can read to help me quickly? I really want to feel more confident about my english ability and want to take the inititave in bettering my self here.

I highly recommend a book titled Grammar for English Language Teachers by Martin Parrot.
It not only serves as an excellent reference guide, but it also has useful consolidation activities at the end of each chapter (for you to improve you knowledge of English grammar, not for the students). Each chapter has key considerations for each topic and typical difficulties for learners. |
